iCloud Sync Guide
Sync counters across all Apple devices
Enable iCloud sync to access your counters on all your Apple devices. Your data automatically syncs in real-time, keeping everything up to date across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Learn how to set it up and troubleshoot common sync issues.
Enable iCloud Sync
Get your counters syncing in minutes.
Open Tally Counter Settings
Launch Tally Counter and tap the Settings tab (gear icon). Look for the iCloud or Cloud options section.
Toggle iCloud Sync ON
Find the "Enable iCloud Sync" toggle and switch it to ON. The app may ask for permission to access iCloud.
Sign into iCloud
Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on all devices using the same Apple ID. Check Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.
Wait for Initial Sync
The app begins syncing your counters to iCloud. Initial sync with many counters may take a few minutes. Keep the app open during the first sync.
Install on Other Devices
Download Tally Counter on your iPad, Mac, or other Apple devices. Sign in with the same iCloud account and enable sync. Your counters appear automatically.

Troubleshooting Sync Issues
Common problems and solutions.
Sync not working?
Check that you're signed into the same iCloud account on all devices. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud and verify your Apple ID. Restart Tally Counter and allow a few moments for sync to complete.
Counters not appearing on new device?
First install, enable iCloud sync, and wait 2-3 minutes. If still not syncing, toggle iCloud sync off and back on in Settings. Check your internet connection — sync requires active internet.
Different counts on different devices?
This usually means sync is still in progress. Check your internet and wait a few minutes. Force close Tally Counter and reopen it. If persists, disable sync, force close the app, and re-enable sync.
Running out of iCloud storage?
Tally Counter data is very small and rarely uses significant storage. However, if you're at your limit, you can upgrade iCloud storage in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage.
Want to disable sync?
Toggle iCloud Sync OFF in Settings. Your local data remains on the device but won't sync to other devices or be backed up to iCloud. You can re-enable it anytime.
